Thanks for contacting us. They are indeed overridden as TubePress handles resizing the player. However, TubePress uses these values to define the aspect ratio of the embedded video player. As an example, if you enter 160 for the width and 90 for the height (i.e. 160px wide by 90px high), TubePress will ensure that the 16:9 aspect ratio is kept as it resizes the player.
