We are looking for a new program to handle our video gallery on our web site. We sell pre-owned equipment and supply videos of their operation for evealuation purposed.

We need it to sort by the title of the video so they are easier for our clients to find. Does TubePress do this?

We can have 50-150 videos on our site at any given time and add and subtract them daily. Is there any limit as to how many videos we can attach?

In the program we are using (and isn;t working well) we have a photo thumbnail and a link to a You Tube Video so we always have a good picture of the machine./ Can TubePress do this or is the image in the gallery always where the YouTube video starts?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for contacting us.

With TubePress, only Vimeo videos can be sorted alphabetically. (Unfortunately, as YouTube does not support this type of sorting, we are at their mercy in this regard.) If you decide to use Vimeo videos in your TubePress gallery, you can choose this setting from WP Admin > Settings > TubePress > Which videos? > Feed Options > Order videos by (see screenshot also 1; this refers to our plugin, which you can download here 2).

Nope!

For YouTube videos, TubePress will use whatever thumbnail you choose for the video 3.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist, and thanks for your interest in TubePress!

Elizabeth -
Thank you for your help.

TubePress does have a manual sorting feature. Can you insert a video in the correct location or to you have to insert it at the top (or bottom) and use the move up/down to get it to the correct place?

Are you referring to the sorting capabilities on youtube.com? If so, unfortunately we don’t have any control over that process. If I’ve misunderstood, could you rephrase the question?
