tubepress-content files

I've seen several users post questions regarding the missing tubepress-content folder and the response seems to be create it manually. I've tried this approach and keep running into errors and was agreed with the other user that a sample folder with files be available to download so we could simply swap out configurations as instructed in the documentation. Has this been made available as a download? Is there a sample of what the database.json file should look like? The error that I am currently getting is "YouTube responded with an error: Bad Request" and am assuming my api key needs to be congigured in my .json file but not sure how to go about doing this.

Hi JP,

You can view a “skeleton” TubePress Content Directory here 1. Are you using TubePress in a standalone PHP environment? If so, you’ll want to create a database.json at tubepress-content/config/database.json with the following contents:

{

“googleApiKey” : “your API key here”

}

Please give that a try and let us know how it works. Thanks!
