Hello,

I am New to your website. I have just tried doing a test video gallery for my website on the homepage, but for some reason after I pasted New to your website. I have just tried doing a test video gallery for my website on the homepage, but for some reason after I paste the code in my site, and I view it on a desktop computer, when I click a thumbnail to view a video, the pop-up window is very very small. On the preview during the EDIT portion it appears fine, but once I add it to my Jimdo site, this issue happens.

You can see for yourself. Please let me know what the problem might be and how I can fix it so that the video appears as a regular good size on a desktop. On the mobile version however this issue does not happen. Thanks so much for your quick help.

Best,
Luis

Hi Luis,

Thanks for getting in touch. Currently, the best solution would be to switch to the “normal” player location from Player tab > Play each video….

At the moment, TubePress Express’s modal player locations (e.g. Shadowbox.js and jqModal) don’t have the capability to “reach outside” of the gallery and take over the entire page. This is a limitation largely due to browser security, which strictly limits communication from the embedded iframe to the parent webpage. We are investigating ways to overcome this restriction, but for now we suggest the “normal” player location.

Thanks for your interest in TubePress and please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist!
