Popup window doesn't size correctly

Aug 22, 2017 10:27AM PDT
I have my video list set up in a gallery to only display one row of five videos, and if I select Fancybox as the player, the popup will not display properly - it won't display outside the div. In fact only the "in a popup window" will display correctly, all the other selections get partially hidden, or get sized too small. Is there way to use Fancybox with only one row of videos?

Here is the page I'm testing on: - the bottom gallery (Essential Training) shows what I mean, is set to display with Fancybox.

Thanks for getting in touch and providing that link. For your current situation (using our cloud-hosted service TubePress Express 1), we recommend switching to the “normal” player location from Player tab > Play each video….

At the moment, TubePress Express’s modal player locations don’t have the capability to “reach outside” of the gallery and take over the entire page. This is a limitation largely due to browser security, which strictly limits communication from the embedded iframe to the parent webpage. We are investigating ways to overcome this restriction with Express, but for now we suggest the “normal” player location.

However, if you’d prefer to use Fancybox without this limitation, you can use our premium WordPress plugin, TubePress Pro, instead. TubePress Pro requires installation 2 and some initial setup 3, but its modal players can take over the entire page.

Does that clarify things? Please let us know if you have any further questions or if there is anything else we can do to assist!
